This is an event by Henrico County Public Library.

Description provided by HCPL: Perfect for families and individuals who are new to birding, this fun and informative program will begin inside with a brief introduction to birding and the ideas behind citizen science. We will then bundle up and take a short walk around the library's green space to look for and count birds as part of the Great Backyard Bird Count.

All ages are welcome to attend and there will be a craft for children, with all supplies provided, and a limited number of binoculars available for use. Children are required to have adult supervision.
